A time that I failed
What I feel the most that failed in the semester was with a math class since it always cost me, and I had a lot of work trying to pass it. I did it :)
What I learned
Usually, this type of subject is difficult for me since I was very prejudiced in my previous years. As a consequence, I had to learn to measure my time and perform my exercises more consistently. Also, I had an experience where others were struggling at math. I learned and I could teach them some stuff to make them get an A. Also I received an offer to become TA I this class
Reflection
Sometimes you have to learn from mistakes and always keep in mind that although there are different adversities in life, we can overcome them. In my case, the approval of this subject was the last necessary requirement to pass and be awarded a UF scholarship.

ReplyDeleteI can certainly relate to your troubles in math. Back in high school my math teacher was out for most of the year on account of hitting a kid with his car, and I’ve always felt a step behind since. To come back and not only pass, but be offered a TA position is really, very impressive man, kudos.

ReplyDeleteI can honestly relate to you so much when it comes to math. It was never my best subject and I struggled with the statistics class I had to take here at UF. I had to get a tutor and everything and I still struggled with it a lot. But the most important thing is that I got through it, just as you did. :)
